Jahorina belongs to high mountains of Dinara system. The Jahorina mountain's massif is long about 30km; with several hills and one of the highest is hill of Ogorjelica with 1916m height above sea level. It is far just 28km from Sarajevo BIH; 200km from Banjaluka; 320km from Belgrade and 350km from Zagreb.
There is the main modern road which is the line between Sarajevo and International Airport, and it is in use for all year. It is possible to come from Sarajevo across Trebevic, just about 32km long, but if you come from Uzice and Gorazde you can use the road from Praca.

The climate and the time-occasions
Jahorina has very specially and soft mountain climate caused by continental and Mediterranean current of wind. Everyone who visited Jahorina will tell you that the climate conditions are very different than others mountains.
This mountain presents the perfect combination of deep covering of snow and gladly sunning sky by winter, especially by February, March and April. Jahorina is covered of snow about 175 days at year which makes it among the first European competition. The snow highness, about 106 cm keeps on from October to May.
The thick green lawn replaces the snow covering by Spring and Summer which makes “soft paradise” of Jahorina for tourists, alpinists and great sportsmen. It makes enjoying escaping from heat and replacing it for clean healthy air.
