The prominent British newspaper The Guardian ranked Jahorina on the list of the top ten European small ski centers.
” Do you remember the Sarajevo Olympics? Its tracks still exist and are now modernized. “This is description of Jahorina, which is on the list of ten best European small ski centers, according to The Guardian.
Fly to Sarajevo and the only thing between you and Jahorina is a short mountain path. The five-day ski pass is only 100 euros, food and drinks are good and cheap, and people are nice and kind. Although arrangements can be made, it is not too complicated to organize your stay on Jahorina by yourself, The Guardian writes.
This British newspaper put Jahorina along with other ski resorts such as the Italian Abetone and Madesimo, Slovenian Pohorje, Bulgarian Pamporovo, French Termignon and La Norma, Czech Harachov, Austrian Niederau and Grandvalier in Andorra.
Such recognitions oblige the Olympic Center of Jahorina to complete their tourist offer and make maximum efforts to meet the expectations of foreign guests, and lately ,even to surpass them, upon the arrival to this Olympic mountain.
