During the winter and summer periods Jahorina has many sport events. In winter Jahorina is organizing an international ski competition “FIS Cup Jahorina” and numerous other competitions which are scored for the championship of the RS and BiH. In the summer there is much more of sport events because of all of the advantages that the mountain offers.
On Jahorina one of the biggest football tournament in the region “Pixie Cup Jahorina is organized. Beside that there are football camps of Red Star and Partizan from Belgrade. As for basketball there is a Basketball camp Three points Hypo which is held annually as well as Cup of Olympic hopes. Out of mountaineering sport events there is Jahorina mountain marathon, organized by the Mountaineering Club Jahorina. The mountain is used by a number of other athletes and sports teams for preparation, because the altitude of Pale and Jahorina is ideal for training in all kinds of sports.
