In an exclusive interview, the director of the Olympic Center ‘Jahorina,’ Dejan Ljevnać, reflected on the current winter season at Jahorina, which has been ongoing for 121 days without interruption.
“My love for nature is what drives me, and skiing is just one of the ways I express it. For me, skiing is not just a sport, but a way of life and philosophy,” emphasized Ljevnać.
He emphasized that the public often only sees the bright sides of Jahorina, such as the beautiful slopes and quality facilities, but that all of this is thanks to the dedicated work of the Jahorina Olympic Center team.
He warns that there is still a significant untapped potential of Jahorina for mountain tourism development and that there is room for further progress.
Regarding the future of skiing at Jahorina, Ljevnać highlights ambitious plans for the upcoming winter and summer seasons, as well as for the development of the entire tourist complex.
