We inform all visitors of Jahorina that, due to unfavorable weather conditions for the production of artificial snow in sufficient quantity, the lack of natural snow, and the announcement of weather problems in form of rain and strong winds, the remaining ski slopes on Jahorina will remain closed during the upcoming weekend, while the vertical transport installations will also remain out of operation.
In the absence of favorable conditions for putting the classical artificial snowmaking system into operation, in form of temperature minus, certain air humidity and wind strength, and in accordance with weather forecast announcements, the suspended operation of installations and trails will remain in effect until further notice.
However, in anticipation of changes in weather conditions in the month of December, which in the last 20 years has never been warmer, the Jahorina Olympic Center continues with the preparations of the ski area for the continuation of the season and the storage of the produced snow in order to distribute it on the ski slopes in accordance with the better weather forecast, and suitable weather conditions, and is doing everything in power of its employees to enable skiing to its visitors as soon as possible.
In the event of a change to the previously mentioned, and the creation of favorable conditions for snow production, as well as the appearance of natural snow, a subsequent notification will follow on the official website and social platforms of the Jahorina Olympic Center.
