You are not a skier, but you really want to explore Jahorina peaks? Sports are not your strong point, but you love walking and would like to climb to the top of the Olympic mountain Jahorina in this way and see all the wonderful stories that skiers bring you from skiing? With snowshoes it is possible! Spend the day in the company of friends and enjoy snowshoeing through the snowy Jahorina landscape, with the help of these special shoes, poles, warm clothes that we’re sure you brought with you, and a great mood.
This season we prepared for you:
- BASIC SNOWSHOEING tour, duration approx. 3 hours, the most common routes go across Gola Jahorina (summit plateau) and follow forest paths over the Kalaidža rock (10.00 – 13.00 p.m.)
- SUNSET SNOWSHOEING tour, includes a panoramic cable car ride from Poljice to Olimp Bar, snowshoeing on Gola Jahorina, return to Poljice by cable car or on snowshoes (3.00 – 6.00 p.m.)
- FULL MOON SNOWSHOEING tour, includes a ride with a taxi snow groomer, departure from Poljice, snowshoeing on Gola Jahorina, coffee/tea in the Olimp bar, return by taxi snow groomer to Poljice, duration approx. 3 hours (5.00 – 8.00 p.m.)
- SUNRISE SNOWSHOEING tour, includes a panoramic taxi snow groomer ride, departure at 6:00 a.m. from Poljice, sunrise at the lookout point, ride to the Ogorjelica summit, snowshoeing on Gola Jahorina, breakfast in Olimp bar, return to Poljice by cable car around 9:00 a.m.
(5 participants minimum)For all tours, registered participants get the equipment (snowshoes, poles), instructions and a guide. The minimum number of registrations for a group tour is 5, after which the participants receive a confirmation and notes on the conditions on the trail, mandatory and recommended equipment.
