XI International Football Tournament Piksi Cup – Jahorina 2017 this year gathers 2,000 participants, and will take place from August 25th to August 28th. The opening ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, August 26 at 12 o’clock on the courts of the hotel Bistrica – Jahorina. Opening ceremony speeches will be held by Mayor of the City of Istočno Sarajevo, Mayor of Pale and A.D. Director of the Olympic Center “Jahorina”.
About 200 football teams and football schools from Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and BiH will take part in this year’s Piksi Cup, which will compete in nine categories. The organizer of the traditional football event is the football school Piksi from Pale. General sponsors of the Piksi Cup tournament “Jahorina 2017” is the City of East Sarajevo, Municipality of Pale and Olympic Center Jahorina. The promoters of the tournament are:, former Red Star football player Vinko Marinovic, Yugoslav football legend Mirsad Fazlagic and FK Sarajevo’s first player and captain of BiH national team (U17) Andrej Djokanovic.
