The most entertaining snow race of the year in a nighttime format. Get your skis, boards, and dive into the 80s-style closet, because we’re rewarding the best costume.
Even the birds on the branch know that Red Bull Homerun is “pure madness”! An exciting mass descent of several hundred skiers and snowboarders from top to bottom of the mountain in a fair and sporting battle for victory, followed by rich rewards for the fastest participants, and an unforgettable snow party for all attendees.
See you on March 9th at Jahorina, where we start from the Ogorjelica ski slope, heading towards the finish line in front of the Termag hotel cottage.
Everyone who wishes to participate can join the race, adult amateurs and recreationalists regardless of gender, while those under 18 and over 16 years old may participate with parental consent. As always, participation is completely free, but don’t forget to register in advance.
Registrations are made via email at homerun@jahorina.org or by calling 066/000-220. And if you decide to participate at the last minute, you can also register on the day of the race at the Red Bull tent from 11 am to 2 pm. All participants must collect their race number jerseys before the start, and needless to say, helmet use is mandatory.
The rules for participants are simple and clear. All skiers and snowboarders start at the same time, run 150 meters in ski boots to their skis or boards, and then descend to the finish line as quickly as possible, with the first to cross the finish line being the winner. Any deliberate physical contact means disqualification, and the same applies to those who do not respect the starting line.
We also reward the best costume!
Prizes are awarded in five categories: fastest female skier, fastest male skier, fastest female snowboarder, fastest male snowboarder, and best costume. The “best costume” category is a novelty, with the theme being the eighties. The participant with the most creative retro look will be rewarded.
