We all remember, with a smile and the greatest warmth in our hearts, how we sledded as children, joyful and carefree, spending hours and hours outside, until we froze so much that we finally listened to our parents, already hoarse from calling, and went inside. Joyful, rosy-cheeked, we impatiently awaited the first snowflakes every year, we remembered winters for sledding, for hanging out, cheerfully running down the hills and, our less favorite, but inevitable, pulling the sled to the top of the hills. If you now have little ones, or you yourself longed for that carefree feeling from 20, 30 or more years ago, it’s time to start rejoicing, because the first Sledding was built on Jahorina!
As long as 600 meters and as wide as 5 meters, the increasingly popular sledding run is located in Poljice, more precisely on slope 7, and is open for the craziest sledding fun every day from 4pm to 6pm!
In the period between day and night skiing, from 4 pm to 6 pm, the anchor lift Poljice is used exclusively by sledders, as they are, together with their sledges, transported to the top of the mentioned trail by the same anchor lift. All you need to do is sit down, lay back, let it take you to the top of the sledding trail and let the sledging fun await you along the entire 600 meters.
Before you go on the craziest winter fun, we remind you to leave your sleds at home, as for this activity the sleds used are the ones equipped with special adapters for the anchor lift Poljice, which you will need to rent at the Poljice cash register. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the anchor lift.
The laughter of the youngest, as well as the parents, will echo in the mountains, while your youngest will surely love winter and sports even more and, joyfully and for a while, put aside the most different types of screens, which, whether we like it or not, they mostly pay attention to. Instead of those pictures, they will store in their memories much more beautiful, lifelike, colorful ones, filled with the smell of winter, laughter, squealing and the joy of spending time outdoors.
