    Ready to introduce you to the magic of snow sports in an interesting and exciting way, the instructors of the Ski & Snowboard School “Olympic Center Jahorina” have prepared new training methods that are unique throughout the entire mountain.

    EXPRESS COURSE:

    At Ski School Olympic Center Jahorina, we offer the most innovative method of training the parallel (Curving) technique, using the UPS system of Mr. Sandi Murovac (technique coach of world champion Tina Maze).

    This is a unique methodical procedure by which the parallel curving technique can be mastered directly by using skis of different radius within three days.

    This training method has already taken roots in the ski school of former world champion Herman Mayer and also around the world in many ski schools and gives excellent results in practice.

    This method is the most effective in correcting a wrongly adopted skiing technique or in further improving an already adopted technique, and it is equally effective for perfecting and correcting excellent skiers as it is for total beginners.

    Course prices:

    CHILDREN’S PROGRAM:

    For the youngest and their parents, there is also a children’s program of stay, games and fun in the snow with skiing training. The program is half-day (from 09:00 to 13:00) and full-day (from 09:00 to 15:00) and involves the stay and training of children in groups of a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 10 participants. The program is adapted to the age category of the children and their psychomotor capabilities. For the youngest, training and staying in the snow with games and fun, and for the older ones, training with a break and refreshments in our Olympic Bar.

    The division by age categories includes:

    – children from 3 to 6 years old, the program is mainly focused on animation, safety, and training to the extent that they want and can accept children.

    – children aged 6 to 11 years, where the program is mainly focused on training, safety with one mandatory break lasting 1 hour with a light meal and refreshments. If necessary and in relation to weather conditions and fatigue, it is possible to extend the break or two breaks.

    Note: parents must first give a statement that they agree that the child can be in the all-day program and that in case the child insists on returning to the parents, there are no refunds. Children should be independent in the sense of open communication with the instructor and due to different needs and circumstances that can happen while skiing.eg: physiological needs, cold, rest, etc….

    GROUP LESSONS:

    For all those who like to meet new faces, have fun and work in a group, this is the best choice. Also, the most profitable, considering the price of the program. The group is formed from participants of similar knowledge level and age, and the minimum number of participants is 5 to a maximum of 10 participants of group classes.

    The group counts from a minimum of 5 participants to a maximum of 10 participants – of a similar age and level of skiing technique, if not all of them are absolute beginners.

    Classes are held according to the system of 2 hours a day for a minimum of 3 or a maximum of 5 days a week

    5 days x 2 hours…………………..100 EUR / 200 BAM

    3 days x 2 hours……………………80 EUR / 160 BAM

    INDIVIDUAL TEACHING:

    Within individual lessons, we offer the possibility of training for 1 student, 2 students, 3 students and 4 students with one instructor.

    This type of training gives quick results in improving the ski technique for beginners or in improving the technique for those who want to progress faster or already ski solidly and want to improve their knowledge. The way of work itself is adapted to the individual skills, fitness and wishes of the participants and is ideal for skiing enthusiasts who are impatient to get to skiing on Black trails, humps and deep snow as soon as possible and discover all the charms and secrets of skiing and skiing techniques.

    They are intended for everyone who wants to reduce the cost of staying in the ski center, so the prices are formed that way.     Nikola Faladžić, born in 1998. 

    Ski instructor U1 level ATUS. Since childhood, he has had a love for the mountains and skiing, and is communicative. He is a former member of the Mountain Rescue Service on Jahorina, fluent in Russian and English. New to teaching, but hardworking and ambitious, dedicated to personal development and progress.

     

     

     

     

    Aleksandar Lalović, born in 1975.

    Ski instructor U1 level ATUS. He has been involved in skiing since childhood and has a degree in Economics. His love for skiing, the mountains, and teaching led him to try his hand at being a ski instructor. He speaks English fluently and is organized, hardworking, and reliable, providing students with the confidence to successfully master their skiing skills.

     

     

     

     

    Stefan Kovačević, born in 2000.

    Ski instructor U1 level ATUS. He is calm, composed, and patient, with three years of experience in this field. Hardworking, punctual, and reliable, he is very good at working with adults and children both individually and in groups. Growing up on Jahorina, he developed a love for the mountains and skiing from an early age, as part of his childhood, play, and everyday life. He will eagerly pass on his love and passion for winter, skiing, and mountain adventures to others. He is a student of electrical engineering and speaks English fluently.

     

     

     

     

    Mia Mihić, born in 1998.

    Ski instructor U3 level ATUS with six years of work experience. Her love for skiing and the mountains developed in early childhood as she grew up on the Olympic beauty of Jahorina. As a girl, she trained at SK Jahorina where she achieved impressive competitive results. After her competitive career, she continued as a ski instructor and passionately passes on the secrets of skiing to her students. She speaks English fluently. Lively, positive, energetic, she enjoys her work and loves working with the youngest ones, with whom she has exceptional patience and a close relationship.

    Miroslav Jukić, born in 1973. 

    Ski instructor at U3 level ATUS – ISIA – an international professional instructor and UPS instructor. With over 20 years of work experience as an instructor, he was a successful competitor in alpine disciplines for 15 years before that. Years of teaching have resulted in many satisfied beginners who are now excellent skiers. Experienced, patient, fully dedicated to beginners – a professional.

     

     

     

    Maja Gazivoda, born in 1983.

    Ski instructor at level 1 ATUS and a UPS instructor. A physical education teacher with 16 years of work experience at Jahorina. Experienced, knowledgeable, responsible, helpful, and a good entertainer. Excellent in individual and group teaching with beginners and advanced skiers.

     

     

     

     

     

    Goran Grujić, born in 1976.

    Ski instructor at level 1 ATUS, a physical education teacher, and an instructor since 2003. Extremely calm, patient, responsible. Witty, fun, with extensive work experience guaranteeing students a safe, fun, and interesting learning experience.

     

     

     

     

     

    Boban Grujić, born in 1987.

    Snowboard instructor at level 1 ATUS. A physical education teacher and a long-standing member of the Mountain Rescue Service, diligent, punctual, dedicated to students. He is also involved in music privately, a Zumba instructor, and a versatile member of our school. Alongside him, you will learn the snowboarding skills in a maximum safe and interesting way, as well as explore all the corners of the Olympic beauty of Jahorina, which he knows very well.

     

     

     

     

    Milivoje Lopatić, born in 1998.

    Ski instructor U1 level ATUS. Graduated professor of physical education. Extremely patient, calm, responsible, and communicative. Very good knowledge of English language. Enjoys working with children and is fully dedicated to beginners.

     

     

     

     

    Marija Mitrović, born in 1992.

    Ski instructor Level 2, with five years of experience working with adults and children, individual and detailed approach in candidate training is being emphasized. Completed additional training in working with children up to 16 years old. Excellent knowledge of English language.

     

     

     

     

    Nebojša Mitrović.

    Employed at OC Jahorina as the Head of the Ski Schools, Sports and Recreation Department for the past 4 years. A ccompetitor in all alpine disciplines, holding the title of Serbian champion for many years and being a member of the then Serbian national skiing team from the Junior to Senior selections. A long-time demonstrator at SSS (Ski Association of Serbia) seminars for obtaining instructor qualifications, and later became an assessor in assessment committees. For the past 12 years, has been the President of the Professional Ski Instructors Association of Serbia with membership in ISIA – the international association of professional ski instructors. As such, he participated in 12 ISIA congresses and 3 Balkan SPE congresses. The technical director of ski instructor qualification courses and the president of the assessment committee. Currently, a member of the COUL SSS – the professional committee of the Ski Association of Serbia.

     


    Srdjana Marinkovic. born in 1996. 

    She graduated from the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, University for Business Studies, Banja Luka. She speaks English and German fluently and holds certificates for completing an English language course. Good in individual and group work, communicative, kind, and helpful. Available for all your inquiries related to the ski school, as well as reservations.

     

     

    Anđela Matović, born in 1999

    Completed high school at SSC Pale, currently a student at the International University of Travnik studying architecture and urban planning. Proficient in English at an intermediate level. Communicative, friendly, and highly capable in both individual and group work. Available for all your inquiries related to the ski school, as well as reservations.
