First Snow, First Sledding – Winter Magic on Jahorina!
October 3, 2025Olympic Center “Jahorina” is once again organizing the “Be a Child of Jahorina” campaign, intended for all elementary and high school students from the City of East Sarajevo.
The program includes six municipalities: East Ilidža, East New Sarajevo, Pale, Sokolac, Trnovo, and East Old Town, covering around 4,500 children.
A letter has been sent to schools, and applications were open until October 1.
Season passes can be collected from October 6 to October 31, 2025, every day from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM at the Poljice ticket office.
Requirements for collecting the passes:
-
Parents must download and fill out the consent form available HERE,
-
Bring the signed consent form with them,
-
Come together with their child or bring a photograph of the child, which will be used to issue the pass.
Important notice on card misuse
Season passes within the “Be a Child of Jahorina” campaign are intended exclusively for the children who have registered.
The passes may not be transferred, sold, or used in any other way.
Any misuse will result in the card being blocked.
The payment and access system to the slopes operates through the ski data system – at each entry, the pass holder is scanned, and the identity of the user is verified through the photograph linked to the card. This makes it clear whether the card is being used by the child to whom it was issued.
Why are we doing this?
Olympic Center “Jahorina” organizes this campaign because we want the children of our region to have the opportunity to ski, spend time on the mountain, and enjoy their free time in nature.
That is why we have provided season passes valid on weekdays, so that the youngest can enjoy healthy and beneficial activities.
Our efforts, investments, and desire for the children of East Sarajevo to be part of the mountain will only be successful if the passes are used properly.
Misuse undermines trust and devalues what we are building together – a better and healthier future for our children.
Let’s be responsible – let’s preserve this privilege and prove that Jahorina belongs to our children.
